Vibration making

    I interest how can vibration be maked.That is,for example sander.how does the mechanism of the vibration sander functions?is there any idea?:uhh:

    Vibration is a period mechanical motion, i.e. some mass is translated back and forth over a given displacment field. Such motion can be obtain with a linear or rotational (orbital) electric motors, which produces a periodic motion.

    Piezoelectrics can also produce vibration by turning the electric field on and off periodically. See -

    Piezoelectric transducers are the basis of ultrasonic devices.
