VOTE Photo Contest - Cry Me A River

In summary, there were a total of 11 entries in the contest to find the best picture of a river. Despite the high standard of all the pictures, there was one clear winner with the most votes - Integral's stunning image of a river with a beautiful scenic background. However, the competition was extremely close, with only two votes separating first and third place. There was also a reminder that there were only two days left to vote in the contest. In the end, Scorpa's image of a river filled with trout was chosen as the best representation of the theme, showcasing the beauty and serenity of a river.

Wow! Amazing pictures!

I shouldn't be surprised anymore by now since we have had outstanding pictures during all the contest, but they continue to be amazing. Well done everyone!

Please vote for the picture that best represents our theme this week, which is a picture of a river.

{Since there were 11 entries, one more than can be included in a single voting round, rather than split the voting into 2 groups, I've decided to withdraw my entry so that we can do the voting in just one round}

Wow! Amazing pictures!
I agree! I especially love waterfalls and the wilderness areas. I hope I get to see all of those places in person. :tongue2: :biggrin:

Another hard one, I went with Integral because I like the scene, but really I could of chose half a dozen here, again the standard is very high and it really is a close one.

All of these are beauties, but my vote went to jtbell. There's just something I found special about that place.

Integral has mine, breath taking.

Just a reminder that you have 2 days left to vote in this contest. It is difficult. Just 2 votes separate 1st place and 3rd place, so every vote counts!

Hootenanny and Larkspur entered beautiful images, but as a rabid fly-fisherman, I had to go with Scorpa. That river's got to be loaded with trout, and I've got cabin fever bad.
