    a. what is the speed of the water waves
    b What is the period length

    This is very basic, actually just applying definitions.
    What is velocity?
    By "period length", do you mean "wave length"? What is that?

    water wave speed = frequency x wavelength

    If the depth remains the same and frequency is doubled would the wavelength be halfed?
