What is the displacement of the point of the wheel?

  1. Jan 14, 2017 #1
    What is the displacement of the point of a wheel initially in contact with the ground when the wheel rolls forward one-half revolution? Radius of the wheel is R [d = 3.72 units R making an angle of 32.48 degrees with the xy-plane]

    R = 1.86 units
    Angle of R with the xy plane is = 32.48 degrees
    Find the displacement of the point ?
