What keeps the stars apart?

It is beyond my ability to comprehend why so many people put so much effort into formulating their own "theories" for things that are already quite adequately explained by existing theories. Especially the desire to find a new theory while declining to even learn the existing theory. Then also (and maybe simple ignorance is the answer) how people can say their theory doesn't contradict an existing theory when its very essence is completely different.

I don't know what to say to you guys other than to continue to recommend you make an attempt to learn the existing theories. Unless you understand Newton's Gravity (for example) you have nothing on which to base a conclusion that its wrong.
