Engineering What must I major in to design submarines?

    Another thing I am concerned about is if these universities, few in number as it is, are hard to get into. What makes universities say, "no we don't want him."? Or am I wrong, and anyone can prove to the administration that they have the capacity to successfully complete his/her selected program, by studying hard and passing an entrance exam?

    In the US, most colleges and universities have student housing, typically cramped dormitories. For undergrads, you'll probably have a roommate.

    Perhaps you should clarify your status. Are you still in high school? If so, what year? If not, what have you been working as, and for how long?
