    What program can I use...........

to have all the math operations -- like the dot for multiplication and the division sign. I tried on word, but I don't have either on my keyboard.

Is there a particular program I could get?

Word includes equation editor. It's a module not installed by default though, so you might have to add it yourself. Help should be able to walk you through installing this.

For math typesetting on this forum we use Latex. See the sticky in General Physics. For MS Word, I've been using equation editor for a while and it is excellent for most operations (very easy to use).

Thank you. I'll check out the equation editor.
