Other What should I research?

  1. Oct 14, 2016 #1
I'm an undergrad interested in doing a summer research program so I asked a prof about what's available. However when she asked "What do you want to research" I was kinda stumped. Any suggestions on how to figure out what research areas I would be interested in?

Well, you've probably had a few physics courses by now, right? What did you find interesting? Maybe you really enjoyed some programming assignments where you got to see the evolution of some quantum mechanical systems, or maybe you really enjoyed an experimental physics course.
