What is more important to the development of science and technology and the furtherment of human knowledge: Physics or Imagination?
mathman said:It would be impossible without both. Physics is the basis for all other science, while imagination is needed for science to progress.

I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.

Antonio Lao said:Imagination is the same as thinking. It is the basis of reasoning to arrive at an inference. Human beings, with their advanced evolution for survival, are the only ones capable of applying this thought process.
The laws of physics are all there in the external world. But it will take the beginning of imagination to start the steps of their discovery. The discovery of fire and other tools and their imagined uses were responsible for the emergence of complex human society.

Imagination is a method of mental dynamics that, if not strongly suppressed, should be paid for, salaried actually, with a reasonable facsimile of a working wage.

This is a difficult question to answer definitively as it largely depends on an individual's personal values and goals. Some people may prioritize happiness as the most important factor in life, while others may prioritize success and view it as a means to achieving happiness. Ultimately, the importance of happiness and success may vary from person to person.
Again, this depends on an individual's specific goals and circumstances. A good education can provide a strong foundation of knowledge and skills, while work experience can offer practical application and real-world experience. Both can be valuable in different ways, so it's important to strive for a balance between the two.
This is a subjective question and the answer may vary depending on the situation. In some cases, being right may be more important, especially in a professional or academic setting. However, in personal relationships and interactions, being kind and compassionate towards others is often seen as more important for maintaining healthy and positive connections.
Again, this depends on an individual's values and priorities. While money can provide financial stability and freedom, love and emotional fulfillment may be more important for some people. It's important to find a balance between both and prioritize what brings true happiness and fulfillment in life.
Both physical and mental health are crucial for overall well-being and should not be prioritized over the other. They are interconnected and can greatly impact each other. It's important to address and prioritize both for a healthy and balanced life.
