Main Question or Discussion Point

So, I have interests in quite a few small subfields of both Math and Physics. I have no clue what I am gonna want to study during graduate school, granted I have time to think about still (2nd year of undergrad). I have no real top list of schools, no real idea what research I would like to choose, or even if Math or Physics is my top choice.

My question is basically, when did you know that this was the subject you wanted to study? That (insert branch of subject here) was what you wanted to do research in?

This is not me being worried because I am unsure, this is more curiousity about when that inspiration (for a lack of a better term) is to come.

Hey Douggy Douggy Doug - super tough decision, but don't start stressing about it now - you definitely have time! I mean even if you still don't know for sure when you graduate, take a year or two off from school and go travelling! Or just get some work experience.
