When is there going to be audio (academic) papers?

In summary, audio papers are currently available through specific academic journals and publishing platforms, but the availability varies. To access them, you can check with individual publishers or academic databases, and some may require a subscription or payment. Audio papers can be used as references in academic work and are considered peer-reviewed. However, not all journals or publishers offer audio papers, so it is important to check the review process of each source. Whether or not audio papers can be downloaded and saved for offline use depends on the specific publisher or platform.

I hope never...
(no diagrams, garbled equations, no tabular representations of data, , lack of flexibility, can't highlight things, half an hour for citations etcetera, etcetera...)
However if you want there are plenty of softwares which can read pdfs and epubs aloud...I generally use them when my focus is wandering that way both my eyes and ears get the same data input.
