Where is moonbear and mgb_phys?

Moonbear has quite an active life in a long distance relationship, which I believes takes up much of her time outside of her job. I wish she'd post more though. :frown: I have no idea about mgb.

I keep up with several PFers on Facebook (and hence was "ordered" to check in here). I'm just really busy lately, and I WISH it was with visiting my boyfriend. So, I'm just popping into say hi. Work is going well, but keeping me incredibly busy, especially with it being the first year of a brand new course.

In not so good news, Ember has been very sick and in the kitty hospital since Saturday. I'm hoping to bring her home tomorrow, but she's still not well and we don't even have a diagnosis yet, just lots of guesses. :cry: We've gotten her past the most life-threatening hurdles, so I'm going to try treating her at home so she can be in a less stressful environment than the hospital as the vets and I scratch our heads and try to figure out what's wrong with her. So, send healing kitty thoughts our way, and keep your fingers crossed that a change in antibiotics will stomp out some undiagnosed bug that wasn't responding to the previous antibiotics.

Get back in here, the biology and medical forums are a bit of a mess.

Oh no, MB, I am so sad to hear this. What are her symptoms? Get better Ember!

Oh no, Moonbear! Poor Ember and poor you! I'm so sorry to hear that your little girlie isn't well. A long hospital stay sucks so huge. Please get a hold of me if I can do anything, even just offer an ear. Mystery illnesses with cats have been my specialty for a while, now, so if nothing else, I've got tons of empathy to share.

Write me, or call me, or whatever if you need anything. Meantime, hugs to you and chin scratches to Ember. Bean sends cuddly purrs.

Very good news.. the last update I saw was that Moonbear's kitty came home today and is on the mend.
