i just meant that you still think of them as being opposites, I don't. So obviously we would disagree with how it applies to any given scenario.

Sp far Ape has said it best: there needs to be a balance. Going too far toward any social philosophy has never gone well. I would like to point out that Rand's Objectivism seems to work only in her fiction. A real-life Rourke would never have had success in the real world. (Architects GOTTA play ball at least at first) Perhaps he would have become famous after he died, heavily in debt. Kinda like Louis Kahn.
