Which of these paths is the best to get into comp science

  1. Jan 20, 2012 #1
Hi, i am from Peru and in march i will graduate with a BS in industrial engineering
i dislkie I.E and have always wanted to study CS but was dumb and didnt do it.
    anyways

i now have the oportunity to study aboard and i have 2 options so far:
    1. apply as a transfer student to get a second BS in CS and then apply for a masters
    2. apply to a masters

I want to be the very best, i dont care how long it takes. I am the top 1% of my current university in Peru. is it easier to get into a masters program in cs or getting into as a transfer student?

going the masters way, i am afraid that i will miss out on a lot of fundamental stuff i must know and put in at a disadvantage.

i know that some unis dont let you have 2 bachelors, but i have a list of the ones that do:

    dartmouth
    michigan
    maryland
    texas austin
    Umass
    wisconsin
    carnegie mellon
    south carolina

what ever decition i make i have financial support from my parents.

    what do you guys think?
    thanks
