Homework Help: Why does the power have to be found at the bottom of a loop?

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    For my physics class in high school we used cardstock to make a roller coaster and rolled a marble down it. Here is one of the questions I can't seem to figure out.

    Why does the power have to found at the bottom of the loop? Explain in terms of both energy and velocity.
