Shall we far surpass previous records as one of us logs at least 10,000 posts this next year?

it isn't impossible.. i would have if ..

1.. spymac didnt come into my life.
2.. PF 2 came around.
3.. I miss PF 1.
4.. college.

anyway i supassed 10,000 posts on spymac in 8 months, so it isn't impossible, just hard and all depends on what kinda topics and ability there is to respond to everything and everything, to increase a post count..

but then again probably your real quesetion should be is there a point? i mean it really is just a number. infact greg can assign that number to you. if he wants.

Quality comes first! no matter the amount!

10,000? Not likely...it took me 18 months to reach about 6000, and General Board posts don't count anymore.

Who cares?
To me, large post count = blabber mouth.
Quality is always better than quantity regarding posts.

wow i see everyone has faith in everyone eles now it is 100% no

I voted "yes", but I'm just being optimistic. I have 200, so far, so I just have to get another 9,800, and I'll make it!

Just need 28 posts per day!

Well it looks like if Mentat can keep up with his current rate, he might just be on his way there.

Perhaps if someone does reach that goal we can all chip in and buy them a life.

  • #11
amen to that! allthough I think it might take more then were willing to chip...

that is cause PF is a relitively small community.

*Looking at his average posts/day* hmm, I guess I just might .

Anyway, I agree with those who have said that post counts are not what is important, what's important is the quality of what is said.

I definitely disagree with posting just to get up your post count (seriously, I think that's just stupid.

(After posting this, Mentat gets up and cheers "I've got the most post counts, I've got the most post counts...)

Fascinating. Next to this post, it says you have a post count of 0. I do not understand.

What ever happened to the list of top posters? It's not going to appear anymore?

POST COUNT OF "0" AND COUNTING DOWN...

...same as me. I don't understand either. That's okay

Thus far, I WIN!

Maybe someone changed the rules and didn't tell us? The one with the least posts wins the book. Thus far, I WIN!

Posts in "General Discussion" don't count, otherwise a lot of us would have over 10,000 posts.

hey MacTech your back. Thats cool. Rock on. PEACE

Come on, this post is worthy of a few counts... most informative

Realistically, 4000 is do-able coz that's just over 10 per day and if you frequent the school/college help section, I'm sure you can provide 10 of our eager student members with help with their homework everyday!

And you can put your 2 cents worth in whatever else to make that 10!

This thread is moot.

Look at the dates on the first few posts. Noone made it.
