I have every possible value and propertie for E-Glass fibre but i can't find yeild strength anywhere
anyone know it?
anyone know it?
The yield strength of E-Glass Fibre varies depending on the specific composition and manufacturing process. Generally, it ranges from 345 to 620 megapascals (MPa).
E-Glass Fibre typically has a higher yield strength compared to other types of glass fibre, such as S-Glass or C-Glass. However, it may have a lower yield strength compared to other types of fibres, such as carbon or aramid.
The yield strength of E-Glass Fibre is influenced by various factors, including the composition and purity of the glass, the manufacturing process, and the size and alignment of the fibres.
The yield strength of E-Glass Fibre is typically tested using a tensile testing machine. The fibre is subjected to a gradually increasing load until it reaches its yield point, where it will deform and not return to its original shape. The maximum load at this point is recorded as the yield strength.
Yes, the yield strength of E-Glass Fibre can be improved by modifying the composition and manufacturing process to produce a stronger and more uniform fibre. Additionally, incorporating other materials, such as resins or coatings, can also increase the yield strength of the fibre.
