I've taken this before and I was a little lower down in the Dalai Lama's direction, but not too much different. I'm just in a foul mood.

Like I've always said, I'm pretty much smack dab in the middle politically.

Rootx, no one famous is in your quadrant.

Economic Left/Right: -2.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.36

I am a fiscal and social conservative, and I find myself about paired with the Dalai Lama? I'm quite libertarian in the sense that that I feel that government should keep its nose out of peoples' business and should size-down and disengage.

I was only slightly off center the last time I took this. I think its because some of these questions I just can't answer so simply and sort of pick what ever I feel is closest at the time.

Some of the questions were not very well posed, for example:

There is now a worrying fusion of information and entertainment.

Am I agreeing if there is a fusion? Or if it's worrying?

It is regrettable that many personal fortunes are made by people who simply manipulate money and contribute nothing to their society.

Is this asking whether or not it is regrettable, or whether such people contribute nothing? People who "simply manipulate money" are clearly providing a service which someone is willing to pay for, else they wouldn't be making a profit.

That being said, here's my score:

Economic Left/Right: 0.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.26

  • #30
Economic Left/Right: -3.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.64

It is all mumbo jumbo to me.

1. What is the purpose of the "Find Your Political Compass" test?

The purpose of the "Find Your Political Compass" test is to help individuals understand their political beliefs and values by placing them on a two-dimensional graph. This can provide insight into where they fall on the political spectrum and how their views compare to different political ideologies.

2. How does the test determine my political compass?

The test uses a series of questions on various political and social issues to gauge your beliefs and values. Based on your responses, the test places you on a graph with two axes: economic (left/right) and social (authoritarian/libertarian). Your position on the graph is determined by the strength and direction of your views on these issues.

3. Is the test biased towards any particular political ideology?

No, the test is designed to be unbiased and does not favor any specific political ideology. The questions are carefully chosen to cover a range of political beliefs and the graph is based on a neutral political compass model.

4. Can my political compass change over time?

Yes, it is possible for your political compass to change over time as your beliefs and values may evolve. It is important to regularly reassess your political compass and take the test again to see how your views may have shifted.

5. How accurate is the "Find Your Political Compass" test?

The accuracy of the test depends on the honesty and thoughtfulness of your responses. The questions are designed to be comprehensive and the graph is based on a well-established political compass model. However, it is important to remember that the test is not a definitive measure of your political beliefs and should be used as a tool for self-reflection and understanding.
