    Pushing a railway car without spinning the wheels?

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who found this to be more puzzling that it seems. We know from experience that the tractor will spin it's wheels - On a few occasions the railway brakes have been left on and the tractor driver found he couldn't push the cars.
