Newton's first law states that a body in motion tends to stay in motion and that's why when you're driving a car and then suddenly stop you get pushed at the same speed you were traveling. the Earth orbits the sun at 64,000 miles and the Earth's rotation is 1000 miles per a hour. my question...- aikawax
