What would a design prototype research paper look like?
I appreciate the feedback. I am still looking for a specific idea to pursue at the moment, however I would like clear up some points beforehand that I mentioned above about the the paper itself and how one would write it given the conditions. I think there may be 3D drafting programs that are...- al4n

What would a design prototype research paper look like?
I will attempt to describe, from my understanding, the output that is to be expected. It involves the design and development of either a tool, a machine, a mechanical system, or maybe even a process or method with the emphasis that it could lessen the tediousness or increase the convenice of a...- al4n

What would a design prototype research paper look like?
I dont wanna get into it, but the professor barely shows up and just gives some requirements. As for the specifics of the paper, its pretty much whatever you could think of, as long as you can back it up on how such a system may be ( or may not be) helpful.- al4n

What would a design prototype research paper look like?
I have minimal to no research experience (writing / conducting) so I might be asking basic or silly questions. However, I am desperate as I have an upcoming paper to write and have close to zero ideas on where to begin. I am confused on a lot of things and I am hoping that a few of them will be...- al4n

B I'm trying to find a general formula for a harmonic(ish) series
I guess. Is that not already figured out? Looking around, What I thought was the formula was in fact only an approximation. So what I should've first asked is, is there something like that to the specific example- al4n

B I'm trying to find a general formula for a harmonic(ish) series
Im looking for a general formula for the partial sum of a series where the nth term is in the form of a_n = 1/(c+kn), where c and k are arbitrary constants. it "looks" like a harmonic series but not in the form I'm capable of figuring out. help.- al4n

Is it mathematically sound? I generally avoid such functions because im not quite comfortable with them- al4n

B Looking for a specific periodic function
Is there a function that outputs a 1 when the input is a multiple of a number of your choice and 0 if otherwise. The input is also restricted to natural numbers. The only thing I can come up with is something of the form: f(x) = [sin(ax)+1]/2 but this does not output a 0 when I want it.- al4n

B How to find an integer solution to a nonlinear equation?
thank you. this is very helpful. so I could write something like an = 1000 = 2353 then like a = 23/n53/n and find values of n that result in whole number exponents. in this case 3, 1.- al4n

B How to find an integer solution to a nonlinear equation?
given something like: an = c where c is given and a, n, and c are only allowed to be integers. how would one find the value of say n or a?- al4n

B Moment of Inertia of Rectangles
I often encounter the formula: I = (1/12)Mbh^2 when dealing with moment of inertia of rectangles and got confused when I was unable to get the same result when figuring it out with integration. It seems that the axis of rotation used is a line perpendicular to one of the bases and on the plane... -
