phase shift in wave light??
when doing reflecton/refraction/transmission of wave light exercise,we must take phase shift into account. but in what situation there is a π phase shift ?
or other phase shift? i cannot apply this well!

I do understand the definition that their initial phase different is not constant. but i just cannot imagine what kind of wave has changing initial phase. isn't initial phase the phase at the time 0? how can it change?
At what angle of incidence is amplitude coefficient of reflection parallel to the incidence plane 0?
my solution is that by Fresnell's equation, r//=tan(i-i`)/tan(i+i`)=0, i=i`,i=90.so for whatever surface,angle of incidence should be 90.
is it correct? different from the answer!
