Undergrad Understanding Phase Shift in Wave Light
phase shift in wave light?? when doing reflecton/refraction/transmission of wave light exercise,we must take phase shift into account. but in what situation there is a π phase shift ? or other phase shift? i cannot apply this well! help~- alchemist7

Undergrad What factors affect the coherence of waves?
I do understand the definition that their initial phase different is not constant. but i just cannot imagine what kind of wave has changing initial phase. isn't initial phase the phase at the time 0? how can it change?- alchemist7

Is the Amplitude Coefficient of Reflection Always 0 at 90 Degrees?
At what angle of incidence is amplitude coefficient of reflection parallel to the incidence plane 0? my solution is that by Fresnell's equation, r//=tan(i-i`)/tan(i+i`)=0, i=i`,i=90.so for whatever surface, angle of incidence should be 90. is it correct? different from the answer!- alchemist7
