Biology Navigating the Path to Cryobiology: Advice for College Students
Yes we do have something similar to what you mentioned. Over in the US it's called Co-op and is pretty much the same thing that you described. Unfortunately, my school has no Co-op program! I still have a year or so before I think I should even apply for any type of position given my weak...- ambrosia

Biology Navigating the Path to Cryobiology: Advice for College Students
Hey sorry about that. Can I delete this thread and leave the other one open? The only reason I posted it twice is because there are not many cryobiologists out there and I thought I would reach more people if I posted in both forums. It won't happen again.- ambrosia

Thanks for the very useful information. It is much appreciated. BTW I think your degree in nanotechnology and regenerative medicine is totally badass. :) Do you have any advice on looking for research opportunities as a college student?- ambrosia

What's your area and level of expertise?
I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to actual nitty-gritty science but I plan to change that in college. :) my interest lies in anything having to do with transhumanism. I find cryonics, along with suspended animation to be incredibly intriguing. I'm also interested in studies about...- ambrosia

I am currently a college student and am very interested in becoming a cryobiologist someday. Particularly, I would like to work on organ preservation or something similar. I just have a few questions regarding what path I should take to get there. Any advice by scientists working in this field...- ambrosia

Programs Minoring in physics, conflictions with other majors and minors
So here is my story. I'm an undergraduate chemistry major as of present. Ideally, I would like to get into grad school and get my PhD in chemical physics and then get into the nanotechnology field. Keep in mind that I'm already done with all my general education courses so I only need to focus...- ambrosia
