If you read again my post you'll see an example of what I meant: "books that talk about how Newton discovered the laws of motion and such". Anyway, I'd prefer if people used this thread to recommend books and not discuss silly matters, so let's end our argument.

I'm asking this here because this is a forum about PHYSICS and people here will be able to recommend me GOOD books, not just random ones, as Google would do. You could've just said nothing. Thank you both for these recommendations, they look perfect. I'll be sure to check them out right away.

I'm looking for history books on the beginnings of physics (mechanics, electromagnetism, etc) focused on explaining the evolution of the various fields that we have nowadays in physics more than trying to introduce them. For example, I'm looking for books that talk about how Newton discovered...
