Are complex numbers involved by any chance ?

I have not yet studied them , they were part of my apprenticeship years ago but just few examples nothing deep . I was taking courses in electronics. I am trying to do a revision while i still have free time.

I want to know what is the composition of these functions , so that I can study them one by one , and do some exercises .

Hello. So I got a question about heredity . Let's say the probability of inheriting schizophrenia is 6 % if one parent is affected. So i know that for 6 % probability, there is 1.2 kid out of 5 who will inherit that illness . So is it better not to have kids in this case ?
