Find 500 MHz UHF Transistor for Project
Is there any other transistors with a higher current gain bandwidth? the 2N5179 has 1.4 GHz, I'm looking for around 6 GHz- brewcrew975

Find 500 MHz UHF Transistor for Project
I am trying to find an 500 MHz uhf transistor for a project and I need one which is big enough that i can solder (i.e., not a mm wide) and it has to have the s parameters on the data sheet. If anyone can help me with what i am looking for that would help out a lot! Thanks- brewcrew975

Undergrad Physics of Pointed vs. Rounded Lightning Rods
What are the physics behind using a pointed lightning rod as opposed to a rounded one. I believe it has something to do with the electric field being concentrated to a point intensifying the field but can someone thoroughly explain it. Thanks!- brewcrew975

Electricity: Positive to Negative or Negative to Positive?
Lets say you have a battery and connect wires to each of the terminals. Now you bring both of the wires together to create a spark. Is the spark jumping from positive to negative (current) or from negative to positive (electron flow). Thanks!- brewcrew975

Can a Transformer Rated at 225 VA Only Supply 25 mA on the Secondary Side?
OK. I understand the rated conditions, my other question is I have is the the same transformer, 225 VA, Vprimary=120 V and Vsecondary=9KV, Isecondary=25 mA, says that when the secondary side is shorted it will have a current of 25 mA, but what if I place say a 1 ohm resistor in place of the...- brewcrew975

Can a Transformer Rated at 225 VA Only Supply 25 mA on the Secondary Side?
When a transformer is rated 225 VA, Vprimary=120 V and Vsecondary=9KV, Isecondary=25 mA, does this mean that on the secondary side the transformer can only supply 25 mA, no more, no less than rated current. Thanks- brewcrew975
