What Does (I) Stand for After a Chemical Compound?

I was wondering what (I) means when it is written after a chemical compound, for example, H2SO4 (I). Thanks!

    Hydrogen Sulfide and Hydrosulfuric Acid

In our chemistry class, we learned that an acid is a molecular compound that release hydrogen ions when they are dissolved in water through a process called ionization. So are both Hydrogen Sulfide (g) and Hydrosulfuric Acid (aq) acids?

What Would the Rocks Be Rotating With Respect To in Newton's Thought Experiment?

I'm not sure where this thread should go, sorry if it's in the wrong place. In Newton's thought experiment about the rotating rocks going taut in deep space. With respect to what would the rocks be rotating?

Calculating Height of Stone Dropped from Rising Hot Air Balloon

Homework Statement If a stone is dropped over the side of a hot air balloon that is rising at 3 m/s and it strikes the ground 1.5s later, from what height above the ground was the stone dropped Would V1 be 3 m/s or 0.. I'm really confused.

Efficiently Calculate Stopping Time for a Cyclist | Displacement Homework

Homework Statement A cyclist is traveling with a speed of 11.0 m/s when she applies the brakes. After slowing for 2.5s, her speed has been reduced to 3.0 m/s. If she continues braking, how much longer will it take her to stop? I found the deceleration to be -3.2 m/s^2 V1 = 3.0 m/s V2 = 0...

Is spacetime an absolute reference frame?

For Newton's thought experiment about two rocks in deep space that will pull taut, with respect to what is it rotating? I'm trying to read Brian Greene's book "The Fabric of the Cosmos" but I'm getting very confused. Forgive me if this is a stupid question.
