How Can Particles of Matter Be Massless?

Ok but as for the massless particles are they not affected by the theoretical Higgs field?

How Can Particles of Matter Be Massless?

Mass is the amount of matter in an object. Or at least that's the classical definition. But there are particles of matter that don't have mass. How is that possible if it's a particle of matter? Plus how can the theoretical Higgs give "stuff" to matter if the matt er is matter and therefore has...

Understanding LQG: How Gravitons Interact with Spacetime

What exactly is the loop in LQG? I have heard it is kind of in a way like the string in string theory

Understanding LQG: How Gravitons Interact with Spacetime

Thanks Marcus. So it is for the most part a quantum theory of relativity. So the gravitons would be talked about as the quantum of space time's warping.

String Theory: Gravitons, Warping Spacetime & Supergravity

How do gravitons interact with the warping of spacetime in string theory? I know gravitons have not been proved to exist. Plus how is it effected by SUSY and what is supergravity?thanks ?

Understanding LQG: How Gravitons Interact with Spacetime

How does LQG work? I know there are gravitons in it but how do they interact with spacetime? Why is it a theory of quantum gravity but not everything? Thanks, Cosmolojosh

What is a Euclidean Wormhole? | Ask Your Question

I have a question wormholes. I know the loretzian wormholehas a black hole and the theoretical white hole. The Euclidean wormhole I don't know anything about. All I know is that they are from quantum mechanics. Can I have a non mathematical answer to what they are? Thanks!

Is Astrobiology a Legitimate Scientific Field?

There is 2 problems with seti anyway. 1. it would take a human like species. There is also a million and 1 other explamaations for what seti is looking for.

    Energy, blackholes and whiteholes

Pherhaps a white hole is just a black hole of exotic negative matter. Maybe that is just anti matter gravitons.

    Energy, blackholes and whiteholes

Or what about a naked singularity. A singularity without a hole would not be deadly. It would probably create a wormhole. None have been discovered.
