Tesla coil secondary coil wrapped around primary coil
what if the thing was highly insulated? i think I am going to build one. and what if the primary was coiled around inside the secondary former?- crockman1

Build an Ultrasound Device for Plant Growth
try beaming ultrasound from piezoelectric transducers! you can buy them from radioshack for a low price. i suggest taking them out of the plastic shell to expose the bare module, as it seems this would help.- crockman1

Can Wire Wrapping Create an Efficient Electromagnet?
i think there might be some interesting effects! i have ran this one through my head a bunch of times. you may discover an extremely efficiant electromagnet if you use the right ratios. try a whole bunch of turns of small gauge wire around annealed guitar strings (heat the guitar strings to...- crockman1

Can Wire Wrapping Create an Efficient Electromagnet?
really? How come there is a different effect when the wire is coiled around an iron core compared to running the wire along a piece of iron?- crockman1

Can Wire Wrapping Create an Efficient Electromagnet?
heres an interesting thought, will there be an increase in voltage if the end of the core wire is connected to the beginning of the wrapped wire? What if this setup was coiled around to produce a flat spiral, and the core wire was electrified by a high voltage oscillator such as a tesla coil?- crockman1

Can Wire Wrapping Create an Efficient Electromagnet?
wow I am dumb what i meant to say was: will *insulated* copper wire with an alternating current pumped through it wrapped around a copper wire induce a current in the copper wire core? And the other way around? U know, if the copper core is electrified w/ ac voltage?- crockman1

Build an Ultrasound Device for Plant Growth
hi all, i am looking to build an ultrasound producing device that emits at 50,000 cps? i need a list of materials and how to construct the circuit. research shows that you can multiply the growth of plants (radishes were tested) by 150% if subjected to ultrsound at around 50,000 cps. thank you...- crockman1

What Are the Potential Uses of a Fractal Coil in Electronics?
http://www.flickr.com/photos/43566332@N06/5526612685/sizes/z/in/photostream/ there's a picture of how the thing would be set up. (EDIT: the wires would be coiled so that they are tight) the primary would be the biggest wire the secondary would be something like half the gauge of the primary...- crockman1

What Are the Potential Uses of a Fractal Coil in Electronics?
what does field cancellation mean? and what if you hook this thing up to a tesla coil or a spark plug? could this be used as a step up transformer? is a current induced in the direction of the output (being the end of third and smallest wire) in the third winding if it is coiled counterclockwise ?- crockman1
