Schools Stanford EPGY University Level Math courses?
I'm not debating the worth of the class. He stated that all he has taken is linear algebra and it wasn't particularly proofy. I suppose I don't know the rigor of EPGY but when I took RA, it was exclusively proofs and insanely difficult (largely considered to be one of the most difficult...- cvisc

Classes other than math and physics
My roommate described it best, I think. If you get deep enough in a subject, try hard enough, you will find the deepness of understanding reveals patterns that a casual apathy would not. Physics and math are intensely analytic, but in a way simpler than the softer subjects. There's always an...- cvisc

Electrical engineering curriculum.
That is pretty much identical to my universities curriculum, however it doesn't look like you do a partial differential equation course which can be quite handy.- cvisc

EE/PHYS 3.2/3.4 With GRE what are my chances?
I'll keep that in mind. The way I see it my double gives me extreme versatility and utility as an experimentalist. Additionally in doubling I was forced to take maximum (and often overloaded) course loads, surely it's not as trivial as you say? Compared to a straight physics major from my...- cvisc

EE/PHYS 3.2/3.4 With GRE what are my chances?
First off, thanks for taking the time to reply. I am aware of the speculative nature of any advice received, however that seems to be all that is available short of asking the deans of admissions at the respective universities. 1.I am aware that I will not beat out someone with everything I...- cvisc

EE/PHYS 3.2/3.4 With GRE what are my chances?
Hey everybody, I am an electrical engineering and physics double major with a math minor coming out of a small liberal arts college. I take the GRE/PGRE in November and was curious about where I could realistically be accepted (I am aiming for physics graduate programs). I've heard extremely...- cvisc
