Hi and thanks for responses. Do you mean average the end moments (at centre support) ie M1=(q*L^2)/8 from the left hand span and M2=(q*L^2)/8 from right hand span? (M1+M2)/2 = Max bending moment in the whole span Correct?- danyjr
