Former Congressional staffer, wrote education legislation, staffed out Congressional hearings and Congressional Intent docs.

Built the first 400 coin laundries in Japan. Before me, no coin laundries: Japanese society and culture just knew that women loved doing laundry. By hand. In cold water.

This means that my major accomplishment in education has been getting hand laundry taken off the Grade III curriculum in Japan. The girls curriculum, that is.

I was also elected to my daughters' school board, and within that board was elected curricurum-tantoh, the person who actually goes around to the schools and talks to teachers, students, administrators, and whatnot.

In this capacity I was able to rid Japan of a Grade VII physics text which taught the difference between rockets and jets: rockets were Newtonian, but jets got to push against the atmosphere behind them.

Currently studying Chinese, but interested in housing rather than the coin laundry business, which is now matured out pretty much everywhere.
