In my physics studies I took engineering classes to focus my physics education. I took more nuclear engineering classes than I did pure nuclear physics. These areas are my favorite and I find everything from the pure science of it to the history to be fascinating.
I dislike programming but can find my way around using C/C++, a bit of Matlab, and I want to learn some more FORTRAN.
I work for a university as a systems administrator. My team manages the domain, the servers, and some workstations. I used to work as a network technician. Information Technology has always been a hobby of mine and luckily for me, the hobby has turned profitable.
Ideally I would work as an engineer, in nuclear medicine, or in pure physics, but I enjoy what I do with computers/servers none-the-less.
Have interests in ethics, politics, philosophy, and history.
My greatest dream would be to one day be on the team that finally makes Nuclear Fusion an economic power source.
