How to Design a Matching Network for 10-j35 ohm Load Impedance at 1 GHz
i normalized Zl and used the smith chart...i ended up with a wavelength of .03 and capacitance of 1.59 x 10^-12 F can anyone confirm this?- dlthomas

Power Transmisson Homework: TL, VSWR, & Impedance Calc.
ok sorry about that, this is my attempt at this problem so far. i am not sure if i take the absolute value of both the imaginary and real part of ZL or if i did the calculation for VSWR right, please check my work. Would this problem be easier done with a Smith Chart, if so could someone...- dlthomas

How to Design a Matching Network for 10-j35 ohm Load Impedance at 1 GHz
Homework Statement A matching network consists of a length of T-line in series with a capacitor. Determine the length(in wavelength) required of the T-line section and the capacitor value needed (at 1 GHz) to match a 10-j35 ohm load impedance to the 50 ohm line- dlthomas

Power Transmisson Homework: TL, VSWR, & Impedance Calc.
Homework Statement A source with 50 ohm source impedance drives a 50 ohm T-line that is 1/8 of a wavelength long, terminated in a load Z=50-j25 ohms. calculate TL, VSWR, and the input impedance seen by the source- dlthomas
