Magnetic Field-Induced square loop
I made that way too difficult and over thought everything. Just the area * z .0121*.55t2 take derivative and plug in for t I'd like to thank Doc for his help & patience- dominatesean

Magnetic Field-Induced square loop
My text is of no help. All it does is confuse me even more. So I understand that if it's perp. then you don't need to use the cos of the dot product. I have no clue if it's perp. or not, all I get out of it is the box is an x/y cord. and the field is x/z. I used the dot product of those 2...- dominatesean

Magnetic Field-Induced square loop
Sometime physics confounds me, this would be one of those times. Φ would that be A*B as A=the area\Pir2 and B is the field. Then dΦ/dt would be the derivative of the change in field/change in the time...I didn't think the field was changing?- dominatesean

Magnetic Field-Induced square loop
Homework Statement A 11cm by 11cm square loop lies in the xy-plane. The magnetic field in this region of space is B = (.31t(i(hat))+.55t^2(k(hat)))T, t is in s. What is the E induced in the loop at t = 0.5s? at t = 1.0s? 2.Equations...- dominatesean

A Moment of Inertia/physical pendulum Problem
I agree but according to the pic i think its measuring the cm but I could be wrong and I found the mass. http://session.masteringphysics.com/problemAsset/1070606/8/14.EX25.jpg- dominatesean

A Moment of Inertia/physical pendulum Problem
Homework Statement The 14-cm-long wrench in the figure swings on its hook with a period of 0.90 s. When the wrench hangs from a spring of spring constant 380 , it stretches the spring 2.8 cm What is the wrench's moment of inertia about the hook? cm of wrench is also 14 cm according to pic...- dominatesean

Finding the speed with kinetic friction
Homework Statement You and your friend Peter are putting new shingles on a roof pitched at 20degrees . You're sitting on the very top of the roof when Peter, who is at the edge of the roof directly below you, 5.4 m away, asks you for the box of nails. Rather than carry the 2.1 kg box of nails...- dominatesean
