Can you damage your starter motor with too much current?
That's some good insight Girts, thanks! My initial concern when I was at the dealership was because I was under the impression that the battery was normally the current limiting factor of the starter system. After my initial research it became clear that was not the case. And it makes a lot of...- duhuhu

Can you damage your starter motor with too much current?
Agreed, I have a good mechanic, but since I moved he's 80 miles away... Still might be worth it to take my stuff to him though cause he always charges a fair price and has never tried to lie to me- duhuhu

Can you damage your starter motor with too much current?
They probably do, I told them not to touch the battery beyond what they needed to swap the starter. It was the dealership (and after seeing the bill I'm never taking it back there anyway)- duhuhu

Is it legal to pack D2O in luggage for a flight?
Deuterium isn't radioactive, and you are checking it, so I can't imagine they would notice or care. I have brought literal gallons of wine back from California in checked bags and never had a problem, so a single liter of something that looks, smells, and behaves pretty identically to water...- duhuhu

Can you damage your starter motor with too much current?
Hey all! Today I took my car to the shop for some starter issues. They told me that the starter had been damaged by a battery with a higher CCA rating than was safe for the starter motor and it burned out my motor slowly over time. I feel like they may be BS'ing me, but I'm not sure. I know my...- duhuhu

Can Resistive Heaters Fail in Vacuum Due to Reasons Other Than Temperature?
Sorry about that, I should have explained. We call it a 1D heater because my team mate who found it claimed that it was intended to be used as a heater and push heat out in only one direction (The side with the metal contact). That figures... I was told by the electronics team that it was...- duhuhu

Can Resistive Heaters Fail in Vacuum Due to Reasons Other Than Temperature?
I am working on a project for a cube-sat to go up on a balloon to 40 km. My team has been talking to some other groups who have worked on other cube-sats who say that our resistive heaters need to be Kapton heaters rather than 1D heaters like what we have designed for. They claim that our...- duhuhu

How can I protect my flash drive from reformat?
I will give this a try, I am not experienced in C# but I have plenty of experience in C and C++ so I am sure I can figure it out assuming I don't have to modify much if anything at all. Thanks mate! I will update with my results later this week!- duhuhu

How can I protect my flash drive from reformat?
It is more of, if I can't have my stuff, no one can. I don't really NEED protection I just want it, and don't want to spend extra money for extra features that I don't really need. Thanks for the suggestion though :)- duhuhu

How can I protect my flash drive from reformat?
Hey team! I have a flash drive that I have already put a few files on that cannot be deleted by any user other than me on my own computer, but I recently found out that anyone can reformat the flash drive and get past that. Is there any way that I can be able to read and write to and from the...- duhuhu
