    Undergrad Calculating Bollard Pull: From N/KN to Tonnes

    bollard pull is the zero speed pulling capacity of a tug . it is measured using a load cell or dynamometer . so its unit is obviously N or KN ; but it is also measured in tonnes . how this conversion from KN or N to tonnes is done? TY
