I'm attempting to learn differential equations on my own. Does anyone recommended a textbook that comes with/has a solution manual? I learn faster when I can see a problem worked out if I can't solve it.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. It's a computer science book I'm reading so that would make sense. Thought maybe it was a way to represent a logarithm I never saw before.

I'm lost when it comes to doing an equation for supply and demand problems.
If I have p=D(q)=24-1.25(q) where p is the price and q the demand, I don't understand how I get the price based on demand. So, for example, if the demand(q) is 200 balloons, I would think it's:
p=24-1.25(200)...
