but isn't 3 the reciprocal of the horizontal dilation? ie B in the general sinusoidal equation: y = C+A*cosB(X-D) If 3 is the reciprocal of the horizontal dilation, how can I simply place it into the (x-D) portion of the equation? Thanks guns4monkeys- guns4monkeys
