Is 19 Credit Hours Too Much for an Early College Physics Major?
At my school they are blow off classes. Art Appreciation is basically an A for showing up. Into to economics is very easy; the only thing people find challenging is that they need to understand basic algebra, but that isn't going to be a problem for me.- Gustafo

Is 19 Credit Hours Too Much for an Early College Physics Major?
You are quite right about the problem based courses; it is much harder to predict how long they will take. Thank you for the insight.- Gustafo

Is 19 Credit Hours Too Much for an Early College Physics Major?
What was it that made it so difficult for you? The Rigor of the courses or the sheer amount of studying because of all the classes?- Gustafo

Is 19 Credit Hours Too Much for an Early College Physics Major?
I am an early college student in my junior year and this spring I am taking 14 credit hours, and I have just way too much free time. I have Composition 2, US history 2, Ethics, and Calculus 2. Next semester I am planning this schedule: Calculus 3 - 5 credits Differential Equations - 4 credits...- Gustafo

The graph of the function is given; Draw the graph of f'
For all of these you first need to determine f(x) from the graphs given. Use your intuition and basic understanding of different functions to do so. Then take the derivative of the function, f'(x), using whatever means you are comfortable with. And then simply graph f'(x).- Gustafo

Improve Math Organization with Tips for Shaky Hands | Expert Guidance and Advice
Most my life I have had a very unsteady hand. As a result have used that as an excuse to do very messy and unorganized work. I have gotten away with it, but now in Calc 2 it would be really nice if I could go back over my work and actually know what it was that I was doing. I would like to know...- Gustafo

Evaluate the limit of [(6-x)^0.5 - 2]/[(3-x)^0.5 - 1]
I am pretty sure that it is going to be impossible for you to evaluate this limit analytically without the use of L'Hospital's rule. May I ask exactly what level of math you are in and what chapter? I am thinking they might want you to do this using the numerical approach. Which is to say the...- Gustafo

Undergrad Starting Out with Proofs: Seeking Advice from Experienced Math Students
I'm a junior in high school taking calculus 1 at a local junior college, and I am getting quite bored with how very simplistic calculus seems to be in calculus 1. To me it just feels like an expansion upon algebra and trig with a few new twists, but nothing that actually requires me to use my...
