How do I start learning quantum physics?

Wow, you people are way too awesome. I never expected you to take this thread that seriously. Thanks to everyone. =================================== When I asked what Cacl I, II, III are, I meant what lessons are in them, I am currently in a special mathematics class where we learn advanced...

How do I start learning quantum physics?

First, I have no idea what the formulas what you guys mentioned are. Second, Can you give me a good book on linear algebra? Third:I really don't know what Calc I-III is so I don't know if I know them. Can you explain it to me? It's a different education system here.

How do I start learning quantum physics?

when you talk about classical mechanics, what are you actually talking about, give me some examples?

How do I start learning quantum physics?

Don't worry about classical physics, it's just along the way. First, I actually do have a basic understanding of it, second if I come in quantum physics to something that is in classical physics I will stop and learn the lesson then continue. It's not hard to me since, as I mention earlier, I...

How do I start learning quantum physics?

Jano L: I want to study it as a hobby, and since I know a few quantum theories and equations I find it very interesting and would like to start learning about it. I was amazed by such things: Double slit experiment, Quantum computers, Quantum teleportation and so on. I don't really understand...

How do I start learning quantum physics?

This question has been probably posted a lot of times but I haven't found them. Where should I start? There are 2 things I want you to answer me: Where to start in mathematical part of physics and what to learn and, Where to start quantum physics after learning the mathematical part of it. P.S...

New to Physics? Seeking Advice - Ask Here!

the only book I have is filled with tasks that I can't solve because I don't know the formulas and the ideas. I don't want to learn that yet because I'm pretty sure that there is a long way before I get to quantum physics.

Exactly, that's what I'm looking for, only one problem, I don't have the book to guide me.

I know that you wanted to do that and I probably will start learning it a few months from now, but right now, I need the thing I mention before. I appreciate your help :D

New to Physics? Seeking Advice - Ask Here!

I know what it will show and do for me, but I do not want to skip. I don't want to go on now knowing some simple things in physics. So if you could give me a list of that it would be good. Thanks for the advice, but as you see, I'm not changing my mind.

New to Physics? Seeking Advice - Ask Here!

Well, first, why do I need math on such advanced level for things like th is one http://library.thinkquest.org/10796/ch2/ch2.htm ? I just want to start all over and learn math along the way. And I already know differental equations.

Mathematics isn't a problem, I'm currently in a special mathematics class so I know a lot about it. The last thing I learned is about limits and currently learning about integrals. So that isn't the problem I think. And as "special" I mean we learn much more than other schools.

New to Physics? Seeking Advice - Ask Here!

I did not watch a movie about it, I went to a science camp here and a professor explained it to me. He explained in detail with all formulas, but first of course explain about qubits, bell states... You are right, I can't blame the teacher, I take that back, it's my fault for not being...
