Is it possible for a box going down on a frictionless incline plane to have not a negative acceleration but positive acceleration? Please help, it is confusing.

If you push an object on an incline up at force of 20N and the acceleration is negative would that mean the object will start to go down or does that mean it will deacclerate to a stop.
