Hector Mata

When people ask me what I do, I like to say I've always been a physicist but have been busy doing other things: chemical engineering, software, classical music... It's only recently that I've homed in on physics as I really wanted for all these years (it's a long, long story). I'm currently halfway through my Ph.D. program, working on the computational aspects of a version of Causal Dynamical Triangulations (CDT), a strategy in the search for a theory of quantum gravity.

I hope I can learn from this community and hopefully give something back.
