What Are the Benefits of Joining a Physics Forum?
Hello all! My name is Amit, and I am from India. I have started my course on Electronics and Communication Engineering (bachelor's degree) this year. My hobbies are watching movies, reading articles / watching documentaries on astronomy (imm facinated by stars! :P), open up and look at the...- Heisenberg_white

Physics -- deriving Planck's constant
I know I am really late to answer this question, but it might help others. I have attached an image, so refer to that. Do ping if you can't understand or want more information :)- Heisenberg_white

Measure Planck's constant without universal constants
Thanks a lot for replying! In the experiment, we used LEDs emitting different colors & found out their barrier potentials, from which we calculated the Planck's constant. Energy, E = eV = hν ( where, e - energy of an electron; V - barrier potential). from this we get V = hc/eλ. and in turn, h =...- Heisenberg_white

Measure Planck's constant without universal constants
I am not getting any ideas to solve this without the universal constants. The method that I want to use invloves the speed of light, which is a universal constant.- Heisenberg_white
