Chemistry Effusion Homework: Calculate Molar Mass of Unknown Gas
Homework Statement One percent of a measured amount of chlorine gas escapes through a tiny hole in 33 sec. One percent of a unknown gas escapes under the same conditions in 75.2 sec. Calculate the molar mass of the unknown gas in g/mol. I can't seem to figure out how to do this so if some...- hockeyfghts5

Limiting Reagent Qs: NaOH & H2SO4 | C6H6 & Br2
Homework Statement Question 1 How would your solve this? I balanced it now i am stuck. Same with the second problem. 2 NaOH + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + 2 H2O If 14.56 g of NaOH was reacted with 13.49 g of H2SO4, how many grams of water would be produced. (Hint What is the limiting reagent?) Question 2...- hockeyfghts5

Limits of Polynomials: x3-6x2+11x - 6 & x3-4x2+19x + 14
well, i used the method of substitution and if my algebra is correct i came out with -6/7 but in my solutions manual that answer is incorrect, then i try to factor the top but it didn't seem to factor out. although, i haven't took college algebra in awhile, so i am a little rusty on my factoring.- hockeyfghts5
