Mastering Coordinate Planes: Finding the Closest Plane to a Sphere's Center
1. Determine which of the three coordinate planes is closest to the center of the sphere(or indicate which planes are tied if two or more of the distances are the same) (s-7)^2+(y-7)^2+(z-7)^2=36 Homework Equations 3. Would i just try setting x,y,z in turns equal to 0 to find...- hungrymouth

Solve Vector Word Problem with Tow Truck: Work Done in Joules
1. Let F = 1050N & θ = 24°. A tow truck drags a stalled car along a road. The chain makes an angle of θ degrees with the road, and the tension in the chain is F Newtons. How much work W is done by the truck in pulling the car a distance D = 1km(1000m) along a horizontal road? Express the result...- hungrymouth

Calculating the Year Using the Gregorian Calendar
Well it's because that value h will be used along with value k and z to calculate the sphere of an equation and using to state whether the spheres intersect each plane. So my h value has to be right. I just wanted to verify if I was doing it correctly. It's vector calculus.- hungrymouth

Calculating the Year Using the Gregorian Calendar
1. So the question for one of the problems(My teacher made up the problem which is divided into parts but I just had a question in one of them) So the problem is let h = 3+(the last digit of the year in which you were born). Use the conventional Western (Gregorian) calendar to determine the...- hungrymouth
