What Size Reciprocating Pump Do I Need for a 0.219 m³/s Flow Rate?
With an average wind speed of 2.67 m/s I am designing a wind turbine which will pump a 1m head of water. I have calculated from the size of my turbine I will be able to pump a volumetric flow of 0.219m^3/s. This is where I am stuck.. I cannot calculate the size of pump which I will need. Can...- indistress

Calculating Wind Energy and Pump Size
Hi, I'm having a little bit of trouble. I need to work out the amount of energy the wind provides at an average speed of 2.67m/s when the blades of a turbine are 0.5m in length? Also how would I use this energy in order to calculate the size of a reciporacting pump needed to pump a head of water...- indistress
