Question about Phase Change & Latent Heat
Well, I think that units for the specific heat capacity for the human body is 3500 Joules / KgK and for water is 4200 Joules / KgK. Latent Heat of Evaporation would be 22.6 x 105Joules / Kg. The term ##M## would be for the mass of water in the body? In kilograms?- IshaanM8

Question about Phase Change & Latent Heat
Homework Statement When running, some (heat) energy is lost by the evaporation of sweat. If a runner loses 1.0 MJ( Mega Joules) of energy via sweating, calculate an approximate mass of sweat evaporated from the runner. Homework Equations Q = McΔT Q (Joules) = M (Mass) c (Maximum Heat...- IshaanM8

What Can I Expect from Joining the Physics Forums Community?
Hello there. I've recently joined the community of "Physics Forums". My main aim was to learn more about the world of physics from the posts on various questions throughout this forum. I'm currently 16 years old, in High school and have been studying Basic physics for 2 years now. I frequently...- IshaanM8
