Transmission line transient simulation
Dear all, I am simulation a lossy transmission line like this: http://www.ece.uci.edu/docs/hspice/hspice_2001_2-2878.jpg with G having zero conductance (open). So it is a standard lossy transmission line with RLC components. All R, L, and C values are the same, so there is no variation from...- isison

Efficiently Solving the Eigenvalue Problem: Sturm-Liouville Equation [URGENT]"
Well, I tried to do the same thing, but I just can't reach the same conclusion. Where does k come from? How do I get that term with k? Thanks,- isison

N-dimensional cube problem with clever solution?
Thanks for the input. Please help me understand this: I see this question with great similarity with the usual gauss' theorem problem I did in EE classes. I don't see how you can argue that the cubic surface can be reduced to a sphere by Divergence theorem; integrating the cubic surface and...- isison

N-dimensional cube problem with clever solution?
Thanks for the reply. I see that by using the divergence theorem, we can convert it into a laplace equation, and since u is harmonic, that term is zero. However, how do we take the velocity into account? I'm confused about that.- isison
