Graphing stress-strain plots on excel
1. I'm given time (s), extension (mm), tensile stress (mPa), and tensile strain (%) in a table. I'm supposed to graph it on excel, but my graphs don't look at all like a stress-strain graph. 2. I think it's probably because I'm using tensile stress or strain? Or is it an excel error I'm doing...- jackiemendez

Projectile Launcher Project: Solutions Needed
Thank you for both your replies, I guess I'll just listen to you guys and try my best to do this on my own... I'll need a few days to figure it out and I'll probably need assistance later on, just for confirmations or questions based on my thought processes. I'll try my best haha- jackiemendez

Projectile Launcher Project: Solutions Needed
Hello! So my class is doing a projectile launcher project, in which you build a launcher and have to hit a certain target, constantly, each time. I already based mine off an air compressor. It's a copper tube attached to an air compressor. It works perfectly, but the problem is I haven't...- jackiemendez

Force Body Diagram - Running: 115 lbs Weight
Thank you to all who responded! I think I sort of get it... Hopefully I was curious to how to draw the diagram since I have an assignment to do on FBD, but our class never really touched on bio-mechanics and I was hoping to do a FBD on a runner, I just wasn't sure how to actually start it.- jackiemendez

Force Body Diagram - Running: 115 lbs Weight
This may be a stupid question, but could any of you help me with the force body diagram of a person running? Before the foot hits the ground, once the foot hits the ground, and after the foot hits the ground? I'm having trouble trying to figure out what forces are being applied to the person...- jackiemendez

Force Body Diagrams: Solving Foot Movement Confusion
Thank you for the welcome. Well, I was planning on the improving the shoe in a way to promote forefront strikes (running on the balls of your feet instead of the heel). I have read that common modern shoes are constructed with elevated heels that protects it, but also promotes a running...- jackiemendez

Force Body Diagrams: Solving Foot Movement Confusion
Hello, I have been assigned a project to find a device to improve on, and one of the tasks is to create a force body diagram. I have a little bit of confusion when it comes to drawing it because if I'm writing the paper on shoes, and how it improves the movement of the feet, how will the free...- jackiemendez
